Overview:
In the interface between the Royal Private Residence and the adjacent land uses an extensive arid landscape park that is fully integrated into the MiSK City-wide open space concept is proposed. The Park serves not only as a transition zone and security buffer to the private residence but also as a partly accessible recreational area for the neighboring residents.
Furthermore, it is providing a functional landscape taking up storm water from the adjacent neighborhoods, retaining and controlling the water discharge into the Wadis. The pathway network interconnects the Neighborhoods of District 5 with the adjacent plots and the site-wide open space network allowing for strolling, running, and cycling complemented by shaded resting and picnic areas.
